Ever wondered if there are famous or even noble relations back through the generations of your family? 

In this Webquest project you will look for information on the Web on your Irish family name.  The objective is to find out about your family or clan name, its origins and its history, its family coat of arms.  As a beginner's guide it may lead you on later to researching your family tree (or genealogy, to use its more technical name) a popular and addictive hobby which may even become a lifetime's research and quest.
