This site contains practical, easy to use resources that can be used to develop the literacy and numeracy skills of the emergent learner. These reproducible free resources are based on the actual needs of the children. They are easy to use, relevant and categorised. They can be used in a variety of means such as paired learning, class learning and resource learning. They are also suitable for parents to use in a homework support context.
The resources are designed to be printed on single A4 sheets. They come in two formats: Flip Cards Word grids. The Flip cards must be folded horizontally to create the flip card effect. The Word Attack grids are to be used to develop a basic sight vocabulary. The Word Attack grids are based on the Dolch lists which cover fifty per cent of all basic sight vocabulary.
In total there are circa 684 literacy and 800 numeracy individual A4 sheets on this site. These resources are grouped thematically.
These resources are aimed at developing literacy and numeracy skills such as:
- Auditory and Visual Discrimination Tables
