The aim of this project is to provide students with a multimedia resource to learn about radioactivity. The target audience is Physics students (Leaving Certificate, Higher Level). Much of the material would be accessible for Ordinary Level students and Transition Year students and might even be of interest to the general reader.

Science Smarties

The project appears as an offer of a choice of seven assessment types - an "assortment of assessments" in Junior Cycle Biology, Physics and Chemistry. They range in difficulty from word recognition exercises through recall tests to quizzes involving more higher order thinking.

 

It's Elemental!

This project focuses on elements, the Periodic Table and basic chemistry concepts necessary for an understanding of chemical bonding. An interactive Periodic table takes full advantage of "hyperlinks" giving ready access to up-to-date information and graphics on each element.

Respiration: Powering Our Cells
