This website is designed as an aid to teachers and students   carrying out an Urban Fieldstudy. It is primarily designed for   Junior Certificate students following the Environmental and   Social Studies Programme but can also be used with   Geography students. Environmental and Social Studies   (ESS) may be taken as an alternative to History and   Geography at Junior Cycle. The programme is specifically   designed to cater for a range of abilities. It is very well suited   to students with special needs as it concentrates on students   practical skills.
