Challenging Images Home

Hello and welcome to Challenging Images. This project involves schools in Germany, Italy, Hungary and Ireland. You will find the work if you click on project resources.Click on any photograph to find out the name of the student. The project also enjoys the participation of the 'Hole in the Wall gang camp'. This was set up by the actor Paul Newman and gives sick children the chance of a wonderful holiday, where they can concentrate on their abilities rather than their disabilities. The project investigates photography and art as medium of expression for young people.

As a special theme the work explores the areas of learning and physical disability with the message that we are all challenged in some way. With the Special Olympics fast approaching, we encourage all students and teachers to use the material here and the links to educate themselves about the issue and creatively express themselves. To focus on what unites us all-our common humanity!
