WebQuest Overview:

Over a period of four weeks, in groups of five the children will organise a holiday for a family of four to Budapest. They will be using the computer skills they have already acquired to find websites. To complete the  task successfully, they will have to communicate with each other as a group on a regular basis and share the information they have with the rest of the group. The children have been provided with a list of requirements which they must meet to complete the task sucessfully. The resources provided are all Web-based, and the websites have been carefully selected so that they provide the information the children will need.

The Webquest aims to foster co-operation skills among the children. While they each have an  individual task to do, in order to complete the task, they will have to work closely together to ensure they plan a well-designed schedule for the family.

Prior Knowledge:
It is assumed that the children completing this Webquest will be familiar with how to use the Internet. They should also have had some experience of working in groups, although this is not absolutely necessary.
